The smoke of the New Year’s fireworks has cleared. Any human seeking their way in life might be inclined to look around and think, “Now what?” The dwarf planets and the solar system in general are glad you asked.
Within the next two days, the Sun, Venus and Mars conjoin the newly named dwarf planet Máni. This guy holds a perihelion in Gemini and a north node in Scorpio. So, then swift Geminian articulation is a priority about his basic theme: Scorpio. And speaking of Gemini, Mercury, who rules that sign, completes the personal planet parade and slips up to Máni on 13 January.
Máni comes to us from Norse mythology where he means “moon,” or brother of the Sun, and is connected to the concept of the man in the moon.
So what happens if one tunes into these transit patterns? The Scorpio/Gemini axis of Máni sounds intriguing, tantalizing and delicious!
First off, you get to avoid any naive bias. This means there is no need to be paranoid or procrastinate moving forward. Your instincts sharpen to the point where you cannot be scammed, duped or cat fished. Your nose is keenly tuned to the scent of an imposter - or potentially any person suffering from the imposter syndrome. Your tendency for overreaction whether mentally or emotionally receives modulation from the Capricorn influence. Rigidity and intractability melt away.
The above suggests you’re more likely to engage advancements in thinking and advanced thinking. Receptivity flourishes. Next thing you now, the lower portions of your body associated with chakras one and two begin to hum. The humming, if given have a chance, explodes into belting out an energetic song that becomes your motto for life. Hanging within the passion that every moment prescribes is the best medicine. Following passion abates tendencies for positive circumstances in life to be delayed or abated.
Now there is a societally uncomfortable factor in Máni’s orbital elements - his node in Scorpio. Add the node to the perihelion in Gemini and there is more than a tendency to blurt out revealing and confrontational tidbits of all matters taboo. Will a person declare something inappropriate about death? Absolutely. Would a person be inclined to ask uncomfortable details about another person’s financial status? Yep, that too. Even worse, could this inspire a person to share or ask about something uncomfortable regarding sex or sexuality? You bet your bottom dollar or sweet bippy. And all of this happens why? Simply, to provoke an honest discussion about life’s most intimate details in the interest or preserving authenticity and to use Máni’s ability to spin the story of your life in a healing manner and project your highest aspirations into the solar system’s support platform and the cosmic ethers.
It sort of goes like this: Let’s say two people in any relational context stand gazing at the full moon. One might ask the other if they can see the man in the moon. This leads to conversations about Marilyn Monroe’s face being clearly evident to one party on the lunar surface, lips parted, ready for use your best imagination. So what, the full moon is a Rorschach Test revealing ones coveted emotional reserves? It would be more than consistent with the current Capricorn crunch to jostle those free. Soon, discussions of if humans ever visited the moon are followed by conversations of death, sex, insurance and taxes... and more important, whatever fears one may have about any of the above or passion for life itself.
Instead of revising those New Year’s resolutions that may have already been violated with an inspired, totally passionate life story? With the Sun, Venus and Mars conjunct Máni could there be any better time to free those forces through clearly recognizing (Sun) all needs and wants in their fullest measure (Venus) and how one decides to take on the agenda of personal fulfillment and create life circumstances that fill all coffers - physical and emotional (Mars)?
Get on with this now. Here we stand almost ten days into the year and it a couple more days Mercury hits Máni directly and using the urgency of the planet’s node commences chattering about being tired hold holding back on expressing and obtaining needs and wants fully. Yep, Mercury intends to spill the beans about the truth of what satisfies your nature.
What can you do to get this started? Take a great shower or bath in which you feel everything of the past that faltered or is incomplete wash away. Have a great meal. Gourmet fixings. It’s better if you can prepare it, but if not order take away or go to a fabulous establishment with a view of the sunset. Savor it all. If it’s a cloudy, watch a video of a sunset at a location that tops your bucket list for travel. While you take in the sunset consider why you should be able to attain the resources and energy required to achieve every heart’s desire. Why? Because you deserve it because of your commitment to fulfilling the urgent purpose of your current incarnation. These are all solar realizations... the rising up of all matters that seek relevance in your life. Though Venus leads the Sun and Mars in the conjunctions to Máni consider Mars next. He lags by a matter of hours. Venus stands out as a tricky bugger. You can ask all you want in life. When what you ask for arrives, do you feel deserving, qualified and able to receive and fully assimilate the answer to your ask? This is where Máni does his best work. In the recognition of pure passion and full desire he works to dissolve any sense of not deserving life’s best renderings - you know, the imposter syndrome - and simply flush it away in a manner becoming to Scorpio.
By engaging only with those who fully believe they deserve what life awards, who knows what could happen in this next calendric cycle. Máni knows. And he’s quite fond of speaking softly, thick in nuance and subtext. Your decoder ring is in the mail (so to speak).
More soon.
Máni or not, the year is barreling toward us at full speed. Might as well order up some astrological consultation support in the early going, before my prices on consultation services rise. As mentioned before, you can order as many sessions as you want provided they are used within a year of the scheduling date. The Galactic Report supports Máni as well.
